In life as in clinical experience, Dr. Kirsten Almon believes that each person must be assessed on 3 levels… mind, body, and spirit. She believes that symptoms are warning signals of improper functioning of the body and when ignored, can result in chronic disease.

She has a Naturopathic Family Practice with special interest and training in novel fertility support, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, women’s health and pediatric care. She loves seeing children for “naturopathic well child visits” and consults on common issues such as food introduction, how to avoid colds, flus and supporting growth and development. Dr. Almon is invigorated when teaching women about infradian rhythms and how they can ignite their own healing potential and thrive.

Her practice tools include clinical nutrition, homeopathy and drainage, acupuncture, herbs and detoxification. Dr. Almon is also trained in Craniosacral therapy and Applied kinesiology. She practiced as a birth doula for 15 years and was honored to support many women and their partners in this process.

Dr. Almon was certified in HypnoBirthing, the Mongan Method. Later after realizing the power of the mind in birth, she wanted to become a certified Hypnotherapist so that she could use this tool to help any of her patients, pregnant or not. She is registered with IMDHA.

Dr. Almon is the co-author and instructor of a Doula course specifically designed for Naturopathic Doctors and teaches across Canada.

Dr. Almon enjoys living a healthy lifestyle with her husband Doug Andrews ND and their children. Current interests include biohacking, snowshoeing, pilates (often in her pjs!), yoga nidra and wim hof breath work. She especially enjoys swimming in near-freezing ocean or lake waters.

“Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air.” RW. Emerson.

Carlie is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in 2023 and is in good standing as a member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association.

Carlie became interested in Osteopathy after experiencing the profound results from treatment while recovering from a sports related injury. She has always been fascinated by the body’s ability to self-heal and self-regulate, so much so that she has transitioned out of a career in education to practice Osteopathy. Her education at the CAO helped her solidify her understanding of Natural Law, structure/function relationships and how the principles of Osteopathy in practice through assessment and treatment can gently realign the body to promote the normal function of nerve, arteries, veins and lymphatics for health restoration.

Carlie holds a BA in French Literature with a Bachelor’s degree in Education and has over a decade of experience as a highschool languages teacher. She has also completed a 200H yoga teacher training which was influential in wanting a more in-depth understanding of human anatomy and physiology.

Traveling with her husband, trying new recipes and spending time in nature hiking with her dog are a few activities she enjoys in her spare time.

Joanna is a physiotherapist with over 20 years of experience in health care and a special interest in complex and persistent pain. She holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy, a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Therapy and a Diploma in Transpersonal Counselling Psychology. She has worked as both a physiotherapist and a counsellor. In her younger years, she was a competitive athlete and earned a scholarship to a US university for rowing.

Joanna has advanced level training in Somatic Experiencing, which is a body-focused therapy that addresses unresolved trauma manifested as bodily symptoms, by helping to restore the dysregulated nervous system to a calmer, more balanced state.

Joanna brings these skills into her practice, along with traditional physiotherapy interventions (such as education, manual therapy, exercise prescription, acupuncture and taping) to create her own unique style of care that nurtures the whole person; body, mind and spirit. Her approach is gentle and supportive, and she listens to her clients with curiosity and empathy. She believes that everyone has the ability to heal, and enjoys helping her clients break through barriers to realize this potential.

Please note that Joanna does not provide pelvic physio, but works collaboratively with other therapists in the clinic who do specialize in pelvic therapy.

A proud mom of two boys, Joanna enjoys playing piano and singing, growing veggies in her garden, hiking with her labradoodle Ziggy, and camping with her family.
